New Bike

Another rainy day so i cant build up the 500 miles required to get my new Vance and Hines pipes fitted.

new times ahead

Personal circumstances has seen an end to my short track/race career. With growth plans for the family and work comitments being the main factors.

I have now sold the ZX6RR to someone that will use it during 2009.

Dont worry though i am not bikeless as i now have a 2009 Kawasaki VN900 Custom, i am currently running it in but please check back here regularly to follow the build to transform it into a very individual bike.

Cheers

Richie

Last outing of 2008

The 6th of December saw my last outing for 2008 at Oulton Park. It was a mixed day as we didnt get started until midday due to severe frost.

i arrived at Oulton late after driving to Birmingham friday night for the insurance awards and back again at 2am 3 hours sleep and i was on the way to Oulton excited to see the boys from TDR and TM.

Arrived swapped garages to settle in with some familiar faces and waited, and waited, and waited at 12pm we got the green light.

17/10/2008

Another week passes and no track day. I have been spending time doing loads but nothing with the bike.

I am looking forward to Cadwell on the 4th November but first i must deal with my birthday this weekend.

I am still frantically looking for sponsors to help me out next year so i have a fair bit of grovelling to do.

Anglesey 03/10/08

Wow what a day.

The week prior we had some terrible weather and on the way over to Wales Thursday night it was not a lot better.

When we woke on Friday morning i was suprised to see clear skys although the wind was still gusting at 40MPH. Anyway the day......

Fantastic i have never ridden so strong, i felt quick and was holding off some of my faster buddies. All the things i have lernt from twist of the Wrist seem to be working, funny that.

Performance Bikes this month

check me out two mags in one month

Quiet

Sorry its been a little quiet on here this is partly due to me working more than playing lately. Spent all of last weekend at the Ace Cafe reunion and the Brighton Burn up representing Fletchers and handing out plenty of free stuff to the biking public

As for the track i have booked Oulton for the 3rd of October so hoping the weather will be kind

Cheers Richie
